Some days ago, while washing up the dinner plates, Cynthia was telling me about what she did with the kids today. While the pasta was cooking, she played a little game with them.
"I took out three bowls, hid a chocolate coin under one of them, shuffled them around and asked Jojo and Evan to guess where the coin was," she explained. "Jojo loved it and she found the coin straight away! Evan was a little confused about it, but he enjoyed playing too. And after that, Jojo took over the shuffling and was playing it with Evan."
Oh well, it's not every day when you find out that your wife has been teaching the kids the fundamentals of streetside gambling! Who knows; maybe these might become life-skills that will come in handy one day!
now you just have to teach them the "coin disappearing" trick and you're set for a third income in the household! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHahaha ... I agreed with KK this is a very important street skill. When they are slightly older .. it could use to show they the "evil" side of gambling ...
