Little Learner

Some days back while we were having dinner, Evan was kicking a big fuss because he didn't like his dinner and was crying noisily. Cynthia finally got fed up and snapped at him, "Fine! You can cry all you want! You're not getting anything else!"

Jojo was eating her dinner and spoke up, "Just ignore him, Mummy. Just ignore him."

Cynthia calmed down, "Yes, you're right. I should ignore him." And then, amused that a 4-year-old was giving her parenting tips, she added, "And how did you become so clever and wise?"

"I learn from you, Mummy," Jojo replied innocently.
