"Oh mannn....!"

Jojo posing as a Kanga-Koala-Lemur monkey

JoJo's vocabulary has increased phenomenally over the past month. She tries to have conversations with us and even tells stories in her cute little way like how the lion (leopard actually) was chasing the moose (wilderbeast actually) on a documentary she saw. She holds a loving fascination over all creatures great and small, and is not the slightest fazed with other animals eating each other. Somehow, she understands the meaning of 'circle of life'.

Lately, her favourite phrase is "Oh mannn...!" and surprisingly, she uses it in the right context. For example, she was caught jumping like a little monkey on our bed one evening and we told her to stop. And, her reply, "Oh mannn...!" in her cute high-pitch voice came soon after she stopped. We think she might have picked up this phrase from several sources, i.e. the Fox from Dora and from my own responses. I've caught myself several occassions saying this phrase 'unconsciously'.

At exactly 2 years 8 months yesterday, JoJo is growing beautifully. Last night we checked on her before we went to bed ourselves and she especially looks angelic when she sleeps. How we treasure these precious and tender years...don't grow up too quickly 'sayang' (means beloved one in Malay).

p.s.: Side note to record that JoJo finally told me she needed to go to the toilet to poo after weeks of consistent poo-ing in her panties (yucky mucky). Gave her a nice chocolate treat for doing a good job!
