Marina Quays Market Village

Giddy-up horsey

Marina Quays is a picturesque market village which sounded so good on the ads with lots of shops and entertainment, but was quite the opposite when we arrived. It was pretty quiet for a Sunday market. This place has a huge potential, architecture wise (castle-themed) and shopping grounds. I felt emphaty for the tenants when an elderly shop owner asked me what my shopping experience was like and how it could improve. She would definitely want to raise the issues to the management to make the market village live up to its name and draw the crowds. The kids still had a great time working their little legs and hips on the mechanical horseys. Highlights were a mini-jumping castle, animal farm and spotting a punk poodle.
