Well, it isn't technically the new year yet, but it's 9.45pm and in a family of two kids, one aged 2 years and the other 4 weeks, this is as far as it goes for a 'late night'.

Actually, Cynthia and I did manage to do something different. We played one game of "Hey! That's my fish!" and "Colleretto". We were tempted to start a long game of "Caylus", but with the baby waking up every hour or so, there's no way we'd be able to finish a decent game. Still, at least we lasted till about 11pm before knocking off.
