Day 8 - Trains in Delhi

We took the train from Delhi to Chandigarh. Little did we know all the fuss behind our seats with Indian police and security guards had someone very important inboard our carriage.

We only found out much later that we were sitting Infront of the Chief a railway Minister of India Pawan Kumar Bansal. He is also the top advisor to the President of India.

Thankfully because of him, the train carriage was clean, service was first class, toilets were clean and we had no extra animal passengers like the mice.

All first class passengers were given a rose. Nice gesture!
